Cheryl Jackson

You have probably seen Cheryl Jackson on numerous occasions. Besides  interviewing Will Smith on the red carpet Jackson has twice hosted the annual Theologian Awards show along with BET’s Gerard Stevens and comedian Jonathan Slocumb.

Jackson and her sister Lynette are featured in Jim Penny’s book, Networking Genius. They are praised for their giving back to the community and teaching people how to fish.

Her appearance on NBC’s Deal or No Deal game show put her name on Studio Movie Grill’s theater Marquee where a host of her friends and family members watched her win $5.00.  Jackson also won a sixteen city competition tour from Twentieth Century Fox to co-host an Oscar segment on the national entertainment show Good Day Live-LA.

Jackson heart is about ministry and philanthropy.  She is the founder of The Giving Movement, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.  She is the host of The Giving Movement’s radio show which broadcast nothing but good news.

She has interviewed Larry Jones of Feed the Children, George Foreman, Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York, Magic Johnson and a host of other celebrities.  Jackson has promoted concerts for gospel artist Kirk Franklin, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Anthony Evans Jr., and Smokie Norful just to name a few.  Jackson is also the Publicist for The North Dallas Gazette newspaper of Collin County and surrounding areas.

Jackson is described as a monomaniac on a mission because she sets high standards and goals for herself and works hard to achieve them.

One of Jackson’s notable achievements was meeting Oprah Winfrey and receiving an exclusive one on one interview with the talk show queen. The same year Jackson was chosen to play Oprah Winfrey for fifteen minutes before the Oprah show audience.

Jackson has worked on the NFL Super bowl Gospel fest, spoke on the same venue with Chicken Soup for the Soul Mark Victor Hansen and appeared on numerous television shows, including two commercials with Dallas Cowboys great Deion Sanders and also game shows Wheel of Fortune and Scrabble, and Deal or No Deal.

Jackson has been married for 21 years to Artis Jackson and she is a proud mother of two sons, Robert and Artis Jr. She walked away from corporate America to use her life to make a difference.  On any given day, you can find Jackson pleading for a call to action for givers to come together and make a difference.  Jackson challenges anyone that wants to partner with success to email her at  cjackson@thegivingmovement.org
